Debbie has been taking care of our dogs for over seven years.  She is extremely reliable and flexible.  Debbie is very trustworthy and we trust her implicitly.  She is very good to our dogs and they love her.  We continued to have Debbie watch our dogs after we recently moved.   Debbie's continued help was a calming influence and certainly made the transition much easier for our dogs.   Jane and Flash the Dog love Debbie.

I have known Debbie since the early '90's.  Since then, we have become friends.  But, back when I first asked her to take care of my parrots and turtles (on my long getaway weekends), I only knew her as someone who used to work at an animal hospital.  That gave me comfort, but still, there was that trepidation of leaving 'my family' in the hands of someone else.  It turned out to be needless worry! 

When I went to China for one month, she watched over my family, brought in the mail, watered the plants, and made sure the house was secure.  This was in the days before texting, and home computers were just starting to become popular.  In other words, being able to get instant assurance from her that everything was OK, was limited to long-distance calling.

Debbie is the only professional pet sitter I've ever had, simply because there has never been a need to look elsewhere.  She fulfills my expectations and then some!

Debbie has been helping with our pet care for over the past 10 years.  At one time we had four cats and two dogs (and 2 children)—now we are the proud owners of two cats and only one dog, but she is an energetic 9 month old British lab (children are now grown).

Our relationship began when we needed someone to come in when we were away to feed the cats—at that time we would board the dogs if we were gone for a week or two.  As our boys got older, and I began to work more, Debbie became the one to walk and feed the dogs during the day, and often on weekends.  Most recently, Debbie has been invaluable in the care and training of our new puppy. 

A caring lover of animals doesn’t begin to describe her.  A trained veterinarian’s assistant, there have been times when Debbie has noticed that something wasn’t right with one of our animals before we did.  She is enthusiastic, and truly enjoys the caretaking, often spending extra time to coax a cat out of hiding to be petted, or playing chase with our puppy in the snow.  She has been our eyes and ears when we have been away, and the alarm has gone off, and grieved with us when we had to have an animal put down. Reliable and responsible, she has never missed a visit.   We are most fortunate to have Debbie as a partner in our household.
